Mustard annuals, high 50-150cm. Glabrous, sometimes spiny hairy, often with creme. Stems branched. Basal leaves petiolate have small lobes; leaf blade broadly ovate to obovate, length 15-35cm, width 5-17cm, apex obtuse, not split or lyrate, edge has a notch or tooth; lower leaves smaller, the brim has a notch, sometimes with obtuse serrate, not amplexicaul; leaf by needle to narrow strip, with no obvious sparse toothed or entire. Racemes of flowers after extended; flowers pale yellow; petals 4, bright yellow, broadly elliptic or broadly cuneate, up to 1.l-1.4cm, apex truncate, margin entire, base clawed; stamens 6, 4 long and 2 short stamens, long long 8mm, long 6mm short stamens; ovary pistil 1, cylindrical, ca. LMM fine, style, stigma capitate. Length fruit bar, long 3-5.5cm, long 6-12mm with thin beak,; fruiting pedicels long 5-15mm. Seeds subglobose, diameter l-1.8mm, bright yellow to yellow brown, minority is dark brown, with a textured surface. Flowering of 4-5 months, fr. 5-6.
