The 1 annual half climbing herbs of Adzuki bean. Stems up to 1.8m long, densely down hair. Three leaves; petiole length 8-16cm; stipules lanceolate or ovate-lanceolate; 3 lobular, by needle, oblong-lanceolate, length 6-10cm, width 2-6cm, apex acuminate, base broadly triangular or suborbicular, entire or with 3 lobed, both surfaces glabrous, papery; leaflets petiolate, veins 3 out. Racemes axillary, flower pieces, pedicel very short; bracteole 2, lanceolate linear, ca. 5mm, with hairs; calyx campanulate calyx teeth short, 5; corolla butterfly, yellow, upper petal reniform, top center is slightly concave, base cordate, petals obliquely ovate, base with gradually narrow claw, keel narrowly, having hornlike projections; stamens 10, anthers two body, small; ovary superior, densely hispidulous, style linear. Flat cylindrical pods. Seed 6-10, dark purple, oblong, both ends of a round, straight and depression. Flowering of 5-8 months, fr. 8-9.
