Latin botanical name: Aegopodium alpestre Ledeb. animal fossil
Harvest and storage: the summer harvest, fresh or dried.
[ ] the original morphology of northeast horn of celery, perennial30-100cm. Stems striate, hollow, upper slightly branched. Basal leaf petiole length5-13cm, leaf sheaths membranous; leaf blade length 3-9cm, width 3.5-12cm, usually three out of two pinnatifid; feather length 1.5-3.5cm, width 0.7-2cm, apex acuminate, base cuneate, margin irregularly serrate or incised parted; the upper cauline leaves smaller, three type pinnate split. Compound umbels terminal and lateral; without involucral bracts and small involucral bracts; umbellules pedicels unequal; calyx teeth degradation; petals obovate, white, with inner folded tabs; styles reflexed outwards. Fruit oblong or oblong-ovate,3-3.5mm long,2-2.5mm wide, main ridge, furrow is broader, no tubing. Fruit period6-8 month.

Ecological environment : in mixed forests or grasslands on mountain slopes.
Resource distribution: distribution in the northeast and Xinjiang.
