Latin animal mineral name: Sterculia villosa Roxb ( Sterculia lantsangensis Hu ).
Harvest and storage: summer and autumn harvest, cut out of bark, sap, removed after solidification.
[ ] the original morphology of villus sterculia trees. Bark grayish white. Branchlets stout, and sometimes mark, by Brown stellate pilose when young. Leaves alternate; petiole stout, ca. 16cm, hairy; stipules lanceolate, ca. 1cm 3-7; leaves palmately cleft, base ministry wide cordate, length 17-22cm, width and length of several equal; intermediate lobes broad ovate, caudate-acuminate, up to 8cm, width of 8cm, leaves sparsely pubescent above, below densely yellow-brown stellate velutinous. Panicles axillary, densely rust-colored pubescence; flowers yellow; calyx broadly campanulate, ca. 1cm, 5 crack, outside pubescent, inside glabrous, lobes lanceolate, apex acute, ca. 6mm, outreach; male flowers androgynophore curved, glabrous, anther 10; female flower ovary pellet form, style curved downward, hair. Follicles long ellipsoid, long 3-5cm, apex slightly short beak, both inside and outside densely ferruginous villous. Seeds oblong, black. Florescence in February, fruit 4-5.
