Leaves alternate; petiole rust-colored, long 5-7mm; leaves thinly leathery or papery, broadly elliptic, long 2.5-6.5cm, 1.2-3.5cm wide, apex obtuse-rounded or acuminate, base rounded or slightly narrow, margin entire, which was rejected by brown scales, mature glabrescent, dark green, below whitish, densely silvery white with a scattered handful of brown scales, lateral veins above significantly, 6-7 to carry out, and midrib angle of 45 degrees. Flowers white, ptosis, densely silvery white with scattered brown scaly, often 1-3 flowers in leaf axils short branchlets; pedicel up to 10mm; perianth tube short cylindric, long 4.5-5mm, lobes 4, broadly ovate or ovate-triangular, inside sparsely white stellate pubescent; stamens 4, filaments very short; style erect, slightly stellate pubescent. Fruit oblong, ca. 10mm, rusty scaly, pale red when ripe; fruit is about 1cm long. Flowering 10-11 month, fruit next year 4-5 month.
