[Original form] Om (hua Lu), perennial herb, stem height 30-100cm. Obvious main root, lateral majority; rhizome short, a few vegetative branches. Stems erect, often clustered, pilose, often branching above the middle. Lower leaves wilt in the flowering stage, the middle lobe obovate to ovate-spatulate thrift, long 4-6cm, width 2-4cm, apex obtuse tip, base gradually narrow, wedge-shaped, sparsely serrated edge up in central or lobed tooth; hairless above or micro-hair, below light color, slightly sericeous; upper leaves oblong, with slightly toothed or entire. Capitulum majority, the top and branches on the stem are arranged in the evacuation of the complex raceme, up to 40cm, with slender stalks and small bract; involucre spherical, wide 3-3.5mm; phyllaries 3 F4, the back of the green, the inner edge of broad membranous, glabrous; female 6-10 flowers; the middle of gender, spend 13-18 flowers, are tubular, yellow, flower column branch tip of gender lanceolate sudden acuminate.
