Medicine source: as Orchidaceae taro orchid tubers.
Latin animal mineral name: Nervilia aragoana Gaud. [ N.tibetensis Rolfe]
Harvest and storage: Autumn digging, sliced dried.
[ ] the original morphology of taro blue small herbaceous, perennial. Block of stems is close globose, diameter of about 13mm. Leaves 1, withered flowers grows, heart-shaped ovate, length 2.5-3.5cm, width 2.5-4.5cm, margin undulately lobed, with about 20 in two raised veins; with long handle. Scapes thin, proximally with 3 scales; inflorescences are 3-4 flowers; pedicels short, basal bracteoles linear; flowers yellow green; sepals and petals subequal, linear-lanceolate, long 14-16mm; upper lip pilose, 3 lobed, lateral lobes erect, apex truncate, segments oblong, apex retuse.

Ecological environment : in an elevation of 2000-2300m under forest.
