Scapes sparsely pilose upper; bracts 3, verticillate, leaflike, ranging from large, sessile; flowers bisexual; sepals 5, petaloid, white, obovate or elliptic, long 7-10mm, wide 4-5.5mm, apex obtuse or rounded, outside sparsely pilose; petals absent; stamens many, nearly as long as sepals half, anthers ca.0.8mm; carpels ca. 8, densely yellowish pubescent, without style, stigma subglobose, florescence 4-6 month, month of fruit period 5-8.

Resource distribution: distribution in southern Shaanxi, southern Gansu, southern Jiangsu, northwest of Zhejiang, Jiangxi, Western Hubei, Hunan, Sichuan, Guizhou, northwest Yunnan.
