Medicine medium source: Ulmaceae evergreen elm bark or root bark.
Latin botanical mineral name: Ulmus LANCEAEFOLIA Roxb.ex animal Wall.[U.tonkinensis Gagnep.]
Harvest and storage: Medicinal endothelial, late autumn collection. Stripping surface rough skin, washing, drying, pulverizing.
[ ] the original morphology of evergreen trees, tall 8-15m. Young branchlets pubescent. Ye Husheng; petiolar long 2-4mm, pubescent; stipules caducous; leaf blade elliptic or ovate-lanceolate, long 3-6cm, wide 1.5-3cm, apex acute to acuminate, base ministry blunt circle, nearly equal on both sides of midrib sparsely hairy, not be below, usually glabrous, margin serrate, teeth end round; lateral veins 8-10on. Flower number per flower clusters in leaf axils, only one part protruding reddish brown bud scales; calyx 5 crack, are ciliate; stamens 4-5, outside protruding calyx lobes. Samara obovate to suborbicular,18-20mm long,13-16mm wide, apex deeply concave, concave inner most sparsely pilose; apex of seed near concave. Fruiting pedicels usually long 5-9mm. Flowering in winter and autumn, month of fruit period 3-4.
